วันที่ 13 สิงหาคม 2562 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ญาณิน โอภาสพัฒนกิจ รักษาการแทนรองอธิการบดี, อาจารย์ ดร.สุดเขต สกุลทอง รักษาการแทนผู้ช่วยอธิการบดี ให้การต้อนรับ Dr.Andres Z.Taguiam อธิการบดี Nueva Vizcaya State University สาธารณรัฐฟิลิปปินส์ และคณะ ในโอกาสเดินทางเข้าพบคณะผู้บริหารของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ เพื่อเจรจาเตรียมสานต่อความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัย ณ ห้องประชุม 2 อาคารสำนักงานมหาวิทยาลัย มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ จ.เชียงใหม่ สำหรับ Nueva Vizcaya State University เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐ ที่ตั้งอยู่บนเกาะ Luzon เมือง Boyambong ก่อตั้งมาตั้งแต่ปี คศ.1916 (พ.ศ.2459) เปิดการเรียนการสอน 5 วิทยาลัย ซึ่งเคยได้มีการลงนามความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ มาแล้ว เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2555 และในครั้งนี้ ได้หารือเตรียมจะต่อสัญญาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ เกี่ยวกับ ด้านการแลกเปลี่ยน นักศึกษาและบุคลากรระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อร่วมกันขยายโอกาสให้กับนักศึกษา และบุคลากรซึ่งถือเป็นความร่วมมือทางการศึกษาระหว่างประเทศที่จะช่วยพัฒนาการศึกษาในระดับนานาชาติ โดยจะจัดให้มีพิธีลงนามความมืออย่างเป็นทางการอีกครั้ง

Representatives from Nueva Vizcaya State University, Philippines visited Maejo University to discuss preparation for further academic cooperation between institutions

On August 13, 2019, Associate Professor Dr. Yanin Opasapatanakit, Acting Vice-President, Dr. Sudket Sakunthong, Acting Assistant to the President Welcomed Dr. Andres Z. Taguiam, The President of Nueva Vizcaya State University, accompanied by other committee members from the Republic of The Philippines. They all visit and meet the administrators of Maejo University in order to negotiate and prepare for further academic cooperation between universities at the university office building Maejo University, Chiang Mai Province.
Nueva Vizcaya State University is a public university located on the Island of Luzon, Boyambong city. The university was founded in 1916, it opens learning and teaching activities in 5 colleges, which had previously signed academic cooperation with Maejo University in 2012. The current visit to Maejo University will look into the preparation and extending of the academic cooperation including agreements on exchange students and personnel between the two universities. This deem to be a joint expand opportunities for the students and personnel of both universities, which is considered international educational cooperation that will help develop education activities at the international level. The visit was rounded up by an official signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
