On 19 September 2019, Dr.Sutkhet Sakunthong, Acting Assistant to the President, welcomed the delegates from Royal Thai Consulate-General, Osaka and government and private sectors from Shikoku and Kansai regions for the special on "Thailand x Japan Smart Farming". The lecture was given by the delegates from government and private sectors attended by more than 60 participants. The lecture was aimed to acknowledge the using of Iot and technology to create production value under the aging-society in Japan. Besides the lecture, on 20 September 2019, the group visited hydroponic plant site organised by Asst. Prof. Dr.Preeda Nathewet and visited Smart Farming sites organised by Asst. Prof. Dr.Choatpong Kanjanaphacoat.
