Abstract :
The main purpose of this paper is to find the appropriated solution of virtual tour on the internet network to use for Agro-tourism, Maejo University, Chiang Mai, Thailand. To complete a virtual tour system, it can be divided in 3 steps: creating virtual tour from panorama picture, developing website, and user’s response. The main content was from MJU Agro-tourism Knowledge Center which was papers and interviewing. Pictures and panorama pictures were shot in different 11 sites in MJU. The appropriated virtual tour application was selected from available websites on the internet. Agro-tourism website was developed, http://www.agro-tourism.mju.ac.th, by combined virtual tour application and necessary information of the destination. The users’ response was evaluated from 2 groups of users, the responsible staffs of the knowledge center and computer specialists. The results show that users had different perspective of a virtual tourism by using MJU Agro-tourism website which depending on their specific needs and information. Both of them were agreeing that feasible is the highest score. It means that this website is possible to use as a tool to promote MJU Agro-tourism Knowledge Center and possible to apply to use in other tourist destinations.
